Women’s sandals are made in a number of steps, and each step takes about 3 to 5 minutes. In this article, I will show you how it’s done, and help you understand the process of manufacturing girls’ sandals.

1st
Matching Sizes
Section: front section
Step: the first step
Process: matching size
There are three steps in the matching size process.
① Fix the insole on the last and make sure it’s even with the heel.
② Check the size of the insole, make sure the size is matched with the size of the last.
③ Fix the insole on the last, and make sure the toe part is even. the insole size has to match the last.

Process: gluing
There are three steps in the gluing process.
① Apply glue to the midsole, no glue spills.
② Applying glue with 10-12mm width to upper edge, no glue overflowing.
③ Evenly apply glue to the midsole circumference(18-22mm width), without spillover.

Step: the third step
Process: Lasting
There are four steps in the lasting process.
① Holding the back part of the shoe’s upper with the left hand and holding the toe part of the shoe with the right hand, without skewing the centerline.
② Do the first clamp with 6mm width, the upper, clam and the cross light have to be at the same line.
③ Do the 3rd and 4th clam with 6-8mm width, the back of the shoe stick close to the last.
④ Reinforce the glue by following the marks, making sure no wrinkles in the shoes.

Process: lasting
There are three steps in the gluing process.
① Follow the lines on the last, adjust it by comparing it with approved fitted samples.
② Last edge must be smooth with no sharp edges, the circumference of the shoes has to be consistent.
③ Check the matching pair after finishing lasting, make sure the waist of both shoes is stable.

Matching Outsole Sizes

Process: Matching Outsole Sizes
There are four steps in the lasting process.
① Check the sizes of the outsole and the last, make sure they are in the same sizes.
② Choose the right medicine liquid based on the material of the outsole.
③ Apply the liquid to the outsole carefully, make sure it doesn’t go out the edges.
④ Matching the shoes in pairs. Vulcanizing with care.

Process: polishing
There are four steps in the gluing process.
① Polishing the shoe toe, make it smooth.
② Polishing the inner and outer waist, make the surface smooth.
③ Polishing the back of the outsole.
④ Clean the outsole after finishing polishing, make sure there’s no dust.

Process: Matching Outsole Sizes
There are four steps in the lasting process.
① Check the sizes of the outsole and the last, make sure they are in the same sizes.
② Choose the right medicine liquid based on the material of the outsole.

④ Matching the shoes in pairs. Vulcanizing with care.

Process: pressing
There are three steps in the pressing process.
① Set the shoe in the right mold.
② Both front and back poles are pressing at the same time, keeping the strength for 6 seconds under 20KG.
③ Make sure there isn’t any burst.

Process: Attaching Outsole
There are three steps in the attaching outsole process.
① Align the outsole with the center toe of the shoe and the glue line.
② Then with the inner and outer outsole waist mark points and glue line.
③ Align the back of the shoe with the marker point, attach the outsole on and press it, check whether the outsole is properly attached.

Step: the tenth step
Process: pressing
There are four steps in the pressing process.
① Use carbon paper to test press and make sure the copy on the paper is clear and even.
② Then match the size of the shoe and the copy o the paper with the left and right foot.
③ Put the lasted shoe and mold on the pressure machine.
④ Both front and back poles are pressing at the same time, keeping the strength for 12 seconds under 20-25KG

Step: the eleventh step
Process: Gluing
There are four steps in the Gluing process.
① First press the outsole along the edge, double-check to make sure no glue burst.
② Check whether the toe is open or wavy.
③ Check whether the toe is round and smooth, whether there is open glue overflowing glue, whether the outsole is wavy.
④ Double check the shoes, matching them in pairs if everything is OK. and put into a freezer, set the temperature between -5 and 5 degrees.

Process: Removing Last
There are two steps in the removing last process.
① Shoes shall not be out of shape and remove last with care.
② Take off the tape and match shoes in pairs.

Step: the thirteenth step
Process: Crewing
There are three steps in the screwing process.
① Put the shoe in the correct heel mold and drill a 3mm hole.
② Fasten an insole hole with an air screw, make sure the screw is lower than the insole board.
③ Make sure the heel is attached correctly, the heel is not kicked forward or backward, the screw not crooking or missing.

Process: Gluing
There are three steps in the gluing process.
① Brush glue follows the drawing line, the glue line should be smooth.
② Make sure the edge is brushed, with no gapping or overflow glue.
③ Check if any missing or gapping of glue.

Process: Attaching Sole
There are three steps in the attaching sole process.
① The back of the sole is 3mm from the edge, the sole should be attached straight, not crooked.
② The edge of the sole should be attached tightly, not cracked, and make sure it’s clean.
③ After finish cleaning, match shoes in pairs.

Process: Cleaning
There are three steps in the cleaning process.
① Check if there’s any dirt on the shoes and clean them up.
② Use the right cleaning agent, don’t damage
the shoes.
③ After cleaning, match shoes in pairs and put them on the product line.

Process: labeling
There are four steps in the labeling process.
① Follow the approved packing shoes to stick labels.
② Check the outsole, make sure it’s clean.
③ The size and color should be correct. Do not mix the size and color.
④ Check the size of shoes, make sure they are in pairs, then put them into the shoebox.

Process: Stuffing
There are two steps in the stuffing process.
① Accordingly to the style and shoe type to stuff paper into, keep the shape.
② Follow the instructions, use paper to stuffing and wrap.
③ After cleaning, match shoes in pairs and put them on the product line.

① Follow the approved packing shoes to pack
